DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be knowledgeable of event menu items and their content, appropriate table settings and service ware, and the correct preparation and garnishing methods.
Set all bars up per BEO (Banquet Event Order)
Wash all glassware and utensils after each use
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks per drink recipe guide book
Pour all wine and beer to proper amount shown
Use jiggers at all times
Collect payment and use cash register as needed and if BEO requires you to do so
Check identification of all customers to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products
Practice ServSafe at all times and ensure we serve no guest over the influence
Clean up after all guests throughout your shift
Clean the entire bar and work area after every shift
Arrange bottle and glassware to enhance the look and display of the bar throughout and before the end of the shift
Serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous serving experience is highly desired, but not required.
Must have a ServSafe & Liquor permit to be able to serve beverage at our facility
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40-50lbs on a daily basis
Must be willing to work late night and long shifts without a break
Must not ever advertise for gratuity
Must be able to be on your feet for a long period of time, 90-100% of the shift
