Barista/Cashier

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and food items
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the service area, seating area, and restrooms
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Upsell products and promote daily specials to increase sales

Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or as a barista is required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is a plus
- Familiarity with Clover POS system is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

- must be Servsafe certified
