Position: Bar Manager/Bartender

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of bartenders and barbacks, fostering a positive work environment.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and maintaining high standards.
• Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guests receive outstanding service, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest quality standards for beverage preparation and presentation.
• Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions on craft cocktail techniques, product knowledge, and service standards.
• Scheduling: Collaborate with management to manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours and events.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws and regulations.
• Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and coordinate orders to maintain stock levels.
• Menu Development: Collaborate on menu creation, including craft cocktails, beer, and wine selection.
• Innovative Thinking: Stay updated on industry trends and implement creative ideas to enhance our craft cocktail offerings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in bartending, with 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, craft cocktails, beer, and wine, with a passion for the craft cocktail movement.
• Strong leadership skills, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and licensing requirements.
• Proven track record in inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Knowledge of bar operations, craft cocktail making, and beverage inventory management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
