Responsibilities:
- Manage daily salon operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Oversee and supervise salon staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Create and implement salon policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and provide training
- Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to staff
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients
- Monitor and analyze salon performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- NJ Cosmetology License
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and reporting
- Familiarity with employee orientation processes and best practices
- Experience in wireless sales or pricing is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and vendors
