Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow exact instructions.
• Ability to work as a team and have good communication skills.
• Having a positive attitude.
• Reliability
• Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for 8 hours.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• ServeSafe Food Handler Certificate (or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Bakery experience is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Must maintain Good Housekeeping Practices.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
• Perform all sanitation responsibilities and train others as needed.
• Responsible for performing daily, weekly, and periodic sanitation duties and tasks.
• Sanitize and clean all machinery/equipment as needed.
• Operate machinery/equipment as needed.
• Assist in the overall baking of cookies.
• Be able to perform all baking duties and train others as needed.
• Assist in the overall packing of cookies.
• Be able to perform all packaging duties and train others as needed.
• Responsible for performing quality checks on finished product bags.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management (may including but not limited to making boxes, sticker bags, washing dishes, housekeeping).
• Be able to work with other production personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Must act safely all the time and immediately report all unsafe conditions, accidents, and near misses to Lead Packer, Lead Baker, or Manager.
• Responsible for notifying equipment problems to leads or manager.
• Employee must perform any and all other duties that may be assigned by their lead, supervisor, and/or manager (may include but not limited to aligning cookies, packing, cleaning, break relief, etc.).
• Employee must ensure they are protecting the product quality and consumer safety. Employee must report all quality issues immediately to your lead and/or manager.
• Must support teamwork, be a team player, ability to adapt to changing demands, and must be a self-starter.
