Under general supervision of the management staff, Baker I’s actively produce baked goods with duties including:
- Production of cakes and cookies and other desserts, scaling, mixing, and handling.
- Proofing, and baking of all cake and raised donut products, sweet dough, and danish.
- Making of muffins, turnovers, and pastries.
- Production of scratch bagels.
- Operating large-scale and specialty bakery equipment.
- General cleaning of bakery equipment.
- Instruction and oversight of student employees.
- Interacting with the Health Inspector to ensure all sanitation guidelines are being followed.
- And contributing to the success of the department as an active member of the team while performing other duties as needed in support of the department’s mission.
The open shift is normally:
Sunday -Thursday 4:30pm-1:00am
