- Performing USAccess badge Personal Identification Number (PIN) Resets for EPA personnel on an as needed basis.
- Cancelling badges for EPA personnel who retire, are terminated, separate from the agency for any other reason, or whose USAccess badge is being replaced.
- Certificate Renewal – Assisting EPA personnel with EPASS badge certificate renewal, on an as needed basis.
- US Access Badge Re-issuance – Re-issuing USAccess badges for EPA personnel who report their badges as lost, stolen, or damaged and unusable.
- USAccess Badge Replacement – Replacing expired USAccess badges for EPA personnel or EPA personnel who have a changed name, citizenship status, or agency affiliation.
- Scheduling USAccess enrollment or issuance appointments.
- Answering USAccess badge status inquiries. If the badge is not in inventory or on the weekly print availability spreadsheet, questions shall be referred to the COR.
- Accurately programming each USAccess badge for access. The contractor shall ensure that each badge is programmed and tested prior to issuance. and
- Enrolling USAccess badges in the access control system and any other applicable access control system via the HID PIV Registration process.
- Prepare routine reports and notifications, as identified.
- Reporting system malfunctions within the times identified.
- Completing and submitting timely and accurate monthly reports.
- Programming and assigning access from the access control system at the direction of the COR or other authorized Region 5 EPA Federal security personnel. and
- De-program/remove access from the access control system at the direction of the COR or other authorized Region 5 EPA Federal security personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience reviewing official identification documents (i.e. passport, birth certificates, naturalization documentation, etc.) to verify proper identification and citizenship.
- Experience Using photographic equipment, live scan fingerprint machine, a computer, a scanner, a copier, an automatic fingerprint machine, and general office equipment with limited instruction.
- Knowledge installing and troubleshooting issues with PC hardware and software, including Windows 10, 7, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Windows Server 2008, 2019.
- Experience managing support request through a ticking system using clear and concise communication with the client.
- Experience working with End Users, Answering IT Service Desk calls and responding to email requests
- Experience issuing and programming access control cards and HSPD 12 identification cards
