We are currently seeking a highly energetic and motivated Medical Assistant/Junior Lab Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Job Description:We are looking for a Medical Assistant/Junior Lab Specialist who is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and possesses a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about the field of aesthetic medicine and eager to learn and grow within our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting specimens (drawing blood) from patients
- Processing and preparing specimens for testing and shipping
- Perform Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Assisting in laboratory clerical duties
- Cleaning and caring for laboratory and other office equipment
- Preparing simple laboratory reagents
- Operating simple laboratory equipment
- Uploading lab results to EHR systems
- Contacting patients for any subsequent/follow-up labs
- Using the lab system to order tests, print reports, and data log
- Using the EHR for scheduling blood draws and ordering tests
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Valid MA certification WITH Phlebotomy certification in good standing
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
- Commitment to excellent patient care

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency in using Microsoft programs

- This position will be a part-time position with approximately 10-20 hours a week. Please confirm that this is an ideal amount of hours for your current schedule.
- Every Saturday and Monday is a requirement for scheduling. Please confirm this works with your schedule.
- Applicants are required to have a valid MA WITH Phlebotomy certification or are attending Medical Assisting/Nursing school. Candidates without a valid MA certification will not be considered. Please confirm this applies to you.
- A Monday will schedule will likely be from 8am - 12pm and a second shift from 5 - 8pm. Please confirm you are able to work both shifts within the same day.
