SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for our children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a nurturing personality. This is a ful-time position with guaranteed hours. We have four children but have an additional babysitter so you will usually be caring for two children. The kids are ages 10, 8, 6, 3. Preference for someone with experience in teaching or childcare so please highlight if you have!
Duties:
- Engage and supervise children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and crafts
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Follow established routines for naptime and bedtime
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding any concerns or updates
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare, preschool, babysitting, or daycare settings
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred
- Ability to educate and engage children of different age groups
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with children and parents
- Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging behaviors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Reliable transportation to commute to the family's home
