Nanny/Babysitter

We are an active family looking for a nanny who would like to help us raise our two-year-old boy and four-month-old twin boys (at the time of job start) starting April 29. The ideal candidate is someone who is caring, dependable, patient, supportive, and fun. Also, we are looking for someone who has a desire for a long-term position with our family.

Our two-year-old is all things boy who especially loves to build and play pretend. He is shy at first but opens up when someone takes the time to play and engage with him. He has also become a sweet and loving big brother to his two new little brothers. We are still learning about our twin boys, but so far, they are both following in their big brother’s footsteps enjoying tummy time, batting at toys, and destroying block towers. We also have a mid-sized, older dog who loves snuggles but spends most of her time sleeping nearby.

The father works from home every day, and the mother works from home two days a week. Both parents intend to stay out of the way, but we would need someone comfortable with this situation. The kids are fortunate to have a grandma in town who loves to plan time to come by and/or take the two-year-old out for a few hours.

We are looking for someone willing to collaborate with us to support the development of our little ones. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is an effective communicator and is open to feedback. It is also important that the person engages in age-appropriate play and activities with each child. Additional responsibilities include washing bottles, cleaning up after meals, and tidying the play spaces as needed throughout the day.

The position is Monday to Thursday. We are looking for someone full-time (40 hours) across these four days; however, we would be willing to discuss part-time options for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to/from our home
• CPR certification or willingness to take training at the time of hire (parents to pay for certification if not certified)
• Clean background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Infant and childcare experience
• First aid certification or willingness to take training at the time of hire (parents to pay for certification if not certified)
• Willing to take children out to activities for stimulation (parents cover the cost of membership and/or activity and provide family car for transportation)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
