Role and Responsibilities
The B2B Sales Engineer (SE) will function as a technology expert within the Samsung Mobile Enterprise Business Unit. This role will require a working knowledge of enterprise environments including, but not limited to, Windows OS and deployment, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Windows Deployment Services (MDS). The SE will be required to position best-in-class solutions for enterprise customers leveraging the Samsung B2B portfolio and solutions from the partner ecosystem. The SE will function as a technical expert for Samsung as well as all the solutions within the Samsung partner ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Address all technical pre-sales challenges brought to the Samsung Enterprise Sales team.
  • Provide direct interaction with Samsung Product Management, Channel Sales, Samsung Sales teams, and customers.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Samsung Windows B2B product and solution portfolio.
  • Provide product line sales support, feature development, and product category intelligence. Test advertised functionality and work to fill any gaps within the portfolio. Search out and find new applications that are strategic to Samsung.
  • Act as liaison between customers and Samsung Technical Delivery Manager when necessary.
  • Assist in the development and management of the Windows product line to ensure effective launch of new B2B products.
  • Travel Percentage: 10-20%
  • Conduct regular in-person and web-based sales demonstrations for customers.
  • Support multiple configurations of Samsung products and solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training and sales presentations to channel partners and/or direct customers.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an engineering (technical discipline) or computer-related field.
  • MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE certification preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years' experience supporting Windows and/or Chrome OS.
  • Candidate must be able to appropriately handle internal and external high-profile escalations.
  • Windows Deployment Services (MDS)
  • System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Remote Management Software (RMS) Solarwinds, ConnectWise Automate, or Kaseaya
  • Experience with a (MSP) Managed Service Provider or OEM is preferred
  • Background in application development preferred.
  • Work independently and maximize productivity.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project milestones within established time frames.
  • Ability to complete tasks and resolve problems that require creativity.
  • Function in fluid situations that have broad guidelines vs. firm process.
  • The ability to write, read, interpret, explain, and act on technical documents, engineering materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal standards, engineering standards, and business philosophy.
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations in writing or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience with high technical skills, management, and operational experience.

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:
  • Colorado: $138,500 to $146,000
  • NYC: $173,500 to $182,500
  • Washington State: $159,500 to $167,500
  • California: $180,500 to $189,500
