Job Description

The Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing Manager at RefrigiWear will craft excellent communications and integrated marketing campaigns. They will convince customers and prospects of RefrigiWear's value and carry these messages throughout a range of marketing activities, all with the goal of helping grow the company's B2B revenue in multiple channels.

The B2B Marketing Manager needs to understand customer needs and have a strong grasp of many different types of marketing activities to determine what will best drive desired results. The Manager will need to know how to define success for their activities and campaigns, and then know how to measure key performance indicators to monitor progress.

This is a manager role, so the successful candidate will have managed marketing programs, budgets and personnel before. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in a marketing leadership role that has a heavy influence on communications and campaign planning as well as demonstrable intelligence and some hands-on capabilities with a range of marketing mainstays, like digital/website marketing, tradeshows, advertising and direct marketing (digital and physical).

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:


STRATEGY

  • Direct the development and execution of B2B marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, generate leads and nurture prospects. Gather and report on meaningful data that can help in future decision making.
  • Spearhead tactical execution of online and offline marketing campaigns and activities, including marketing collateral and catalogs, emails, advertising, public relations, events, tradeshows, promotions, direct marketing and the develop of sales tools. Align B2B marketing strategy and company goals.
  • Cultivate data-driven, high-impact, and results-oriented marketing practices. Implement performance metrics and tracking tools to measure results.

CAMPAIGNS & OTHER TACTICS

  • Evaluate and select best tactics aimed at reaching sales targets and help the team adopt your tactical plans, implement activities, stay focused and remain within budgets.
  • Evaluate and select best lead-building and prospecting tactics to build business in newer channels for the company. Manage campaigns from concept through execution using internal team members and/or outside agencies.
  • Create full plans around tradeshows, including defining what success looks like, and ensure tradeshows are executed flawlessly.
  • Engage with Sales and other departments regularly to ensure they are properly engaged with campaign activities and all outbound communications.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: monitoring all content our audiences receive to ensure it is consistent with our brands and business objectives.
  • Ensure purposeful marketing communications, internal or external, across all platforms, whether communicated in writing, verbally or visually. Must be comfortable establishing the tone and purpose of all communications to guide the marketing team as well as other internal teams.
  • Work with multiple departments to gather needed information for communications, as well as help improve their outbound communications to external audiences. This role should be a nexus that encourages more meaningful communications between departments and within the marketing department.

MANAGEMENT

  • Hold team members accountable for tracking, reporting on and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) that support growth.
  • Help plan and allocate budgets for marketing communications initiatives. Manage ongoing spend for all B2B Marketing activities. Use team to collect invoices for approval and timely payment.
  • Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates talented personnel.


OTHER DUTIES

  • The ideal candidate understands that many marketing and other company activities are rooted in solid planning and communications development. Other duties will undoubtedly arise as company and marketing needs grow and evolve.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business or equivalent degree + experience
  • 3-5 Years: Direct management and execution of marketing communications activities with demonstrable skills at copywriting and message development
  • 3 Years: Experience in broad range of marketing activities, including tradeshows, digital marketing, public relations and direct marketing
  • 3-5 Years: Expert knowledge with MS Excel for reporting purposes
  • 3 Years: Marketing experience in an organization with large B2B customer base
  • Expert knowledge in common business software, like MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of business and marketing operations, including budget management
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to interface with people at all levels, including customers and external vendors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage projects independently
  • Detail oriented and well organized will be extremely important
