Reporting Level:
- This position will report to the Sr. Manager of the B2B Integration product team.
Shift Schedule:
- This person will work in shifts.
- On-call support including periodic after hours and weekend support responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide administration support for B2B integration technologies, such as: EDI X12, AS2, SFTP, TLE, & Bizlink
- Support & develop with Cobol, PERL, & Shell scripting
- Implement and administer new B2B Integration services and projects (both cloud and on prem), working with delivery teams to ensure success.
- Participate in system capacity reviews and engage in disaster recovery activities
- Provide technical guidance & recommendations to application teams
- Design, build, test and implement EDI transactions and provide problem analysis and technical support
Establish close working relationships with the application development teams and understand their business and technical requirements.
- Participate in architecture strategy discussions and contribute to cloud alternatives research.
- Document and maintain policies & procedures, standards, & guidelines for Data Integration.
- Support various phases of application development, testing and deployment activities.
- Support the following:
- Opentext TLE EDI translation
- Opentext Bizlink EDI transformation
- AS2, SFTP, & HTTPS
- Encryption protocols, such as PGP/GPG.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years overall information technology experience
- 3+ years EDI development & support experience with the following:
- EDI map experience
- Opentext TLE EDI translation preferred
- Opentext Bizlink EDI transformation preferred
- AS2, SFTP, & HTTPS
- Encryption protocols, such as PGP/GPG
- 6+ years working within delivery projects and detailed understanding or project development lifecycles
- Experience within operational support role and detailed understanding of support processes and considerations
-Ability to operate in a 24 x 7 - periodic on-call rotation production environment
- Conceptual knowledge of foundational messaging (MQ), file transfer, and database interaction technologies
- Command-line experience working with UNIX/Linux
- Full lifecycle software development experience
- Excellent oral and written and communication skills
- Should be able to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Self motivated and able to work with only moderate supervision.
- Experience managing performance against metrics and SLAs
- Conceptual knowledge of Webservices
- Worked within global delivery model and collaborated with engineering teams worldwide
- Knowledge of any job schedulers, Incident management tools
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and exposure to DevOps operating model
