Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Provides investment advisory services for customers. Develops prospects from current bank customers, referral leads, and other sources. Determines customers' financial services needs and prepares proposals to sell services. Provides clients with information and advice on purchase or sale of securities, financial services, and investment plans. Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
- Executes purchases and sales of equity and debt securities, including shares of certain registered open-end management companies, and certain insurance products for the Companies’ customers.
- Attends community activities to increase awareness of the bank’s investment services and to develop new business prospects. Makes presentations on financial services to groups to attract new clients.
- Attends branch meetings as requested to educate employees on investment services. Provides investment training as needed for the retail branches.
- Reviews Sales Action Plans with each branch manager. Maintains established schedule of working at each branch. Updates managers on investment activities. Meets with branch management.
- Attends business calls with managers or other partners when investment services are targeted.
- Complies with all rules and regulations established by Infinex and PeoplesBank.
- Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: Generally, requires a four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience plus three to five years of relevant experience. May require thorough knowledge of a technical or specialized field.
Certifications, Licenses and/or registrations: NASD licenses including Series 7, 63, 65 or 66. Life Insurance licenses.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel
