About AIG Warranty - HVAC Business
AIG Warranty delivers a full range of service solutions including warranty management administration, extended service programs, customer service support, service network management, claims processing services, and service contract underwriting. Position Overview:
The AVP of National Accounts will serve as the reporting manager for account leadership including the national account managers, Along with team management, the primary focus for the position is client support, evaluation, program development, and retention. The AVP of National Accounts leads the national account team selection process, professional development, and support through best-practice execution of tools and resources that ensure smooth operations and improved sales outcomes. This role reports to the VP of Business Development and National Accounts. Overnight travel required up to 50%.
How you will create an impact
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to the national account and marketing team
  • Work with VP in HVAC Warranty Division to create, implement, and measure best practices
  • Identify and implement improvements in client relationships, program development, and market strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct and analyze critical data on sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategy related to the growth of new and existing HVAC clients.
  • Establish regular cadence for reporting on distributor activity.
  • Build relationships in the industry, become a trusted advisor.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations and Price Management teams to monitor current market and industry trends and anticipated hurdles to ensure that forecasts and programs are aligned to remain competitive in complex conditions.
  • Performs other duties as required to support AIG's account growth objectives and strategic initiatives.

What you will need to succeed
  • 5+ years knowledge of the HVAC and/or Warranty Industry
  • 5+ years management experience at the Director level or above (GM, VP)
  • Ability to analyze market and industry trends to identify potential areas of growth
  • Ability to work within CRM programs to deliver performance based reporting
  • Skilled in relationship building and development to foster authentic trust in client relationships
  • Skilled in negotiations, expectation setting, and delivering on promises.

Ability to develop materials and present in a highly-professional manner to executives and key stakeholders - both internal and external. This includes telecommunications and in-person presentations
