National Salvage & Service Corporation is actively searching for an Accounting Clerk. This role is based out of our home office in Bloomington, Indiana.

- Full Time (Hourly)
- Regular Position (40 hours)
Essential Job Functions:
- Organizational skills filing documents, invoices, and receipts following established processes and procedures
- Skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred
- Experience in TimberScan, preferred
- Ability to liaison well between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements
- Comfortable coding and processing 1,000+ invoices per month, regularly.
- Ability and desire to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling files and records
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-year work experience in accounting in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, with emphasis on Excel.
- Capable to Prioritize workload and perform in a Fast-paced and challenging environment
- Capacity to liaison well between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements
- Ability and desire to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling files and records
- Physical Requirements: Stand, Walk, Bend, Twist, Move Throughout the Day, Use Hands in Repetitive Motions, sitting for long periods of time, repeat same movements, Lift 20 pounds. This is an indoor position in a typical office setting.
