Job Description
North Bay Aviation is hiring Avionic Bench Technicians to support our certified F.A.A. Repair Station located in Fairfield, California. As a member of this team, you will test, repair, and overhaul commercial and military aircraft components.
As an Avionic Bench Technician, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft components.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Complete understanding of the principles of electronics and the ability to proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level failures which will include defective ICs (integrated circuits), resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc.
- Familiarity with and be able to use industry-standard test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters, and have the ability to learn the proper applications of specialized test equipment.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, schematics diagrams and drawings.
Desired:
- Aircraft systems knowledge and experience within the instrumentation, autopilot, air data computers and/or electrical power is beneficial.
- Backshop/Depot-Level Avionics Maintenance.
- Experience using Labview software for development and use of automated testing.
