Job Description:
This position conducts full Alignment and Acceptance Testing of flight hardware using established test procedure. This position will utilize test equipment which includes but not limited to oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, DMM, power supply, network analyzer, signal generators, and automated test equipment. Position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with focus on quality and attention to detail. Other task will include troubleshooting, review/update test procedure.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to read schematic diagrams, electronic assembly drawings, engineering change orders, test procedures and rework documents.
- Perform Acceptance Testing (i.e. vibration simulation, thermal cycles, and thermal vacuum) on flight hardware by following a specified test procedure.
- Test and troubleshoot RF, digital and/or analog top assemblies with little or no supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes, power supply, etc.).
- Interface with Engineers for new product implementation or design issues.
- Demonstrate computer literacy.
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) task and inspection on all ETL equipment.
- Lift 25lbs–50lbs of test equipment with assistance.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience Microsoft Office products.
In compliance with California's Fair Pay Act, the salary range for this role in California is $51,500 - $81,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
