PeopleTec is currently seeking anAvenger Weapon System Aerospace Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.
Duties:
- Perform engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft.
- May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
- May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.
- Be knowledgeable on ancillary capabilities of the Avenger Weapon System for utilization in an urban environment.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of program documentation for management and technical reviews.
- Provide resources to support working groups, integrated product teams, technical interchange meetings, process reviews, program reviews, and design reviews.
- Support the development of briefing materials and technical papers and provide independent technical review for accuracy and content.
- Provide technical orientation briefings, as required.
- Attend program reviews, as required, to better understand issues/problems related to programs and propose recommendations for possible solutions to issues.
- Participate in meetings with respective program managers to provide technical assistance, input, and advice.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Travel: 10 %
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
- Must have 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree
Desired Skills:
- Deep understanding of Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Weapon Systems integration and operations.
