Form of workMcCarthy Chevrolet- Overland Park is looking for a Warranty Admin and Accounts Payable Specialist. We are looking for individuals who want to start or grow their career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a fast paced environment, is very detail oriented, and enjoys interacting with employees and customers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of warranty claim documentation, including repair orders, invoices, and parts receipts.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, and dealership staff to resolve warranty claim issues and discrepancies.
- Monitor warranty claim status and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Posting of invoices, reconciling statements, verifying authorization for payment, remitting payment on statements.
- Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks.
- Assist with other office functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team.
- Office or administrative automotive experience preferred.
