Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in beautiful Panama City, Florida.  HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 282-bed acute care facility on the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle, serving the Bay County and surrounding communities. The facility provides a variety of inpatient services, including a 20-bed ICU and the area's only level III NICU, and is undergrowing significant growth and expansion

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

 

• provide inpatient nutrition care, primarily on the ICU;
• work rotating weekends providing hospital-wide coverage;
• perform quality improvement tasks such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; and
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
