- Program logic-controlled equipment to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
- Provide technical automation support for production breakdowns, new equipment installations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Investigate equipment malfunctions to enhance reliability, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Perform setup and calibration for process and control instrumentation (e.g., flow meters, temperature, and pressure transducers).
- Determine and program parameters for variable frequency drivers and servo drives.
- Install and commission new instrumentation for additional data collection as requested.
- Maintain and improve existing plant control systems.
- Conduct routine diagnostic checks on equipment, electrical panels, and control systems.
- Research new industrial automation equipment and materials for manufacturing.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including Arc Flash protection and PPE usage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant automation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree/experience.
- Proficient in PLCs, HMIs, including advanced programming (B&R Automation, Rockwell Automation, Automation Direct).
- Knowledgeable in VFD & Servo Motor Control.
- Familiarity with industrial networking (EthernetIP, ModbusRTU, ModbusTCP, CanOpen, Powerlink).
- Understanding of industrial instrumentation (level, pressure, flow, temperature, sensors).
- Proficiency in MS Office and other tools.
- Strong work ethic, able to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
