Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Automatic Test Systems Operator and Maintainer who is primarily responsible for maintaining the base shop test facility, performing electronic maintenance on shop replaceable units, system supported line replaceable units and test program sets. This is not a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
JOB DUTIES:
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform electronic maintenance, adjustments and tests
- Operate and perform preventive maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles and power generators
- Install supported weapon system test program sets
- Replace defective components and perform base shop test facility alignments
- Read technical diagrams and manuals in order to locate, isolate and repair instrument parts
PAID TRAINING:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training.
- 30 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- No felonies (Defer Adjudication included).
- Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Permanent resident or US citizen or green card holder.
- Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
- Pass (ASVAB) .
