In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking aSr. Systems Analyst / Software Tester with experience ensuring the quality and reliability of existing and newly developed software products.
Required Qualifications
- A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph obtainability.
- BS degree and twelve (12) years of experience with programming and software analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Five (5) years working with test automation tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Selenium or Junit. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with integrating test automation frameworks into a CI/CD pipeline.
- At least one (1) year experience with Git or other comparable code management technologies.
- Lead and execute comprehensive software testing strategies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Analyze software requirements and design test cases and scenarios to verify product functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and reproduce software defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
- Investigate and document software issues, providing detailed information to facilitate root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain Automated Test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
- Conduct thorough risk analysis to identify potential quality issues and propose solutions.
- Experience querying a database and performing back-end validations, over very large datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve software development processes, quality assurance practices, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay current with customer focused best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
