We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates. This is a crucial role in our body shop department, as you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest quality standards.
```Duties```
- Inspect vehicles and assess the extent of damage
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software
- Communicate with customers regarding the repair process and estimated timeline
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed according to estimate
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and associated costs
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claims processing
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostics
- Experience in tire service and oil changes
- Ability to write detailed service reports and estimates
- Proficiency in automotive service terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with transmission repairs and vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
