This position will provide Audio visual and classroom technologies support. Responsible for Audio Visual maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. May function in a highly skilled technical capacity with minimal supervision.
- Analyzes and repairs Audio-Visual equipment to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
- Reads and interprets equipment schematic diagrams and other CAD drawings.
- Provides training and leadership, primarily to student workers.
- Assists with purchasing and commissioning technology.
- Loads code or firmware and provides logistical support when testing and updating network devices.
- Serves as the first responder for reported technical issues.
- Responsible for regular maintenance and modification of equipment as needed.
- Understands incident tracking, opening, and closing tickets.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Associates and 6 months experience
Education: Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristics of this field. Experience: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of directly related experience.
