Audio Video Design Analyst (Santa Clara, CA)

We are looking for an Audio Video Design Analyst for our client, a County in the State of California. The focus of this role is to analyze and assess the current Audio-Visual systems for Remote Participation Meetings which will also help guide the gathering of requirements for a future RFP.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved every 9 months (extensions likely), 40 hours per week role. This is an onsite role at our client's office in Santa Clara, CA. The preferred candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the offices in Santa Clara, CA.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing a survey of AV facilities, provide remote Public Participation Meetings support, and review current architecture and bill of materials.

• Provide a report that includes but is not limited to, Equipment Inventory, Rack elevation, and Schematic diagram.
• Engage with client's stakeholders to identify must-haves, nice-to-haves, and what works and what does not to define new equipment.

• Articulate plans for expansion, capacity planning, and failure recovery taking constraints with existing and new space and infrastructure, e.g., cutover planning into consideration.
• Design and defend a standard vendor-agnostic architectural plan that meets the needs of the client, considering requirements (including hardware, software, interfaces, and support), priorities, dependencies, and constraints (including building and client's standards).

• Provide functional, technical, business, installation, training, and support requirements to build, test, migrate and support the AV system and assist in drafting RFP.

• Provide full-scope AV design analysis and consulting services that include design and documentation, plus construction administration, project management, and oversight of the contractors.
• Assist with bidders' conference, RFI's, etc., and provide oversight of vendor installation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with AV design analysis and assessment of AV systems for Remote Public Participation Meetings, including Event Spaces, Control Rooms, IT Space and Infrastructure, etc.
• Experience providing AV design analysis and assessment to develop a Scope of Work to be included in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for solutions including equipment, installation, and ongoing support.
