LOCATION: 405 Howard Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA
DUTIES: Build highly scalable micro-services. Conduct rapid prototyping of new technologies/framework. Migrate components of our existing legacy enterprise applications over to the cloud. Perform bug-fixes/enhancements to existing products. Provide production support to existing applications. Manage performance tuning of enterprise applications. Recommend, discuss, and implement dev driven enhancements. Identify problems with current approaches, implement client feedback, and perform project release planning. Execute coding coupled with unit and mutation testing. Implement cloud native solutions, perform code review, and provide end to end support. Implement automation for activities that are repetitive in nature.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related technical field plus at least three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related position performing software development and designing technical solutions at enterprise scale. Full term of experience must include the following: providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, UAT, and stage environments; applying knowledge of multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; working with Java, Junit, Spring boot, Spring JPA, Elasticsearch, Maven, Mockito, Lombok, and Apache Kafka; and using build tools and version control systems, including GIT and BitBucket.
HOURS: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $158,080 to $190,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
