Onsite – Culver City, CA
Long Term Contract
Responsibilities for AV engineer
- Audio and video project design, SOW creation, planning and management
- Liaise with Workspace Resources and Line of Business managers to support A/V systems and environment design
- A strong team participation character
- A good understanding of other building services
- Ability to achieve and maintain high levels of quality and consistency of outputs
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute to the quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines
- High levels of written and oral communication
- A willingness to travel, from time to time, to support specific client requirements
- Report status of I.T
- This position will serve the role as the key person to deploy campus wide A/V solutions
Qualifications for AV engineer
- Able to work flexible work hours, be self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is comfortable dealing with a variety of end users, including C level executives, talent, various internal departments (Network Engineering, Facilities, etc) external vendors
- Background in live studio production equipment and screening room equipment
- Extensive experience with Evertz video routing systems and broadcast equipment integration with a focus on physical installation
- Proficient with DCP playout systems and DCI compliance
- Experience designing and supporting post production technology (edit/QC bays, storage and machine rooms)
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
