Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with AT&T products and services, including wireless, internet, TV, and home phone.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person visits, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and patience at all times.
- Listen actively to understand customers' concerns, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide accurate information and solutions to resolve problems effectively.
- Assist customers with billing inquiries, account management, plan upgrades, and service cancellations, following AT&T's policies and procedures.
- Educate customers on AT&T's offerings, promotions, and features to help them make informed decisions and maximize their experience.
- Process customer transactions, service orders, and equipment exchanges accurately using AT&T's systems and tools.
- Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up actions to ensure timely and consistent service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, sales, and billing departments, to address complex issues and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
- Stay current on AT&T's products, services, promotions, and policies through training sessions and ongoing learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in Customer Service, preferably in a telecommunications or retail environment, is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset and a genuine desire to help others.
- Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with Customer Service software, CRM systems, and basic troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the willingness to take ownership of customer issues until resolution.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
