Under the direction of Security Shift Manager, the incumbent is responsible for promoting an outgoing, friendly, customer-oriented personality always. Oversees the direction of the activities of Security Officers in assigned zones of responsibility in accordance with the company and departmental policies and procedures. Acts to protect and safeguard assets of patrons, employees and the company. Schedules and coordinates security activities.
- Conducts inquiries alleged instances of negligence or misconduct. Coordinates activities with local and state law enforcement officials.
- Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
- Reviews all incident reports for accuracy submitted by Security Supervisors.
- Directs and delegates responsibilities to the Security Supervisors.
- Communicates all policy changes, memorandums, and special events daily.
- Communicates with guests and other employees in a positive manner, both in oral and written forms.
- Evaluates his/her subordinates’ performance.
- Coordinates emergency situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of Security supervisory experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Casino Key Employee License from the NJ DGE.
- Must be able to lift and cary up to 25 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
