Description:
The Security Systems Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all systems pertaining to the Corporate Security environment. Coordinates with in-house business heads and vendors to ensure proper functions of all Security Systems including CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems, etc. Generate proposals and oversee projects with vendors to maintain they are being completed on time while staying within budget. Oversee on-site Contract Guards and Security Command Center.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through auditing, review, and technology. Assist in supervision of on-site Contract Guards. Direct oversight of Security Command Center Console Operator.
- Deployment of all security related systems including CCTV cameras, access control panels, intercoms, guard station PCs, network switches, and recording servers.
- Ensuring all Security equipment is installed following the security standards in place. Create an audit process for all access, Security & CCTV systems.
- Monitoring and supervision of all devices on security network to ensure they are all fully functional and operational. Keeping a running log of all devices on the network.
- Lead architecture and design decisions for core technology for months or years to come. Coordination with vendors and other internal departments under the direction of the Security Director to meet project goals in a timely manner and make sure they come in under budget. Conducting of in-depth walkthroughs to achieve the overall security objective at hand while staying within the security standards in place.
- Assist Department heads in the layout and understanding of the security equipment so all their needs and requirements are met for the federal agencies.
- Administration of access control in all locations. Responsible for making dedicated access control groups, restricting access to certain locations throughout the buildings.
- Coordinates with IT infrastructure team on existing and new security network equipment hardware or software installs. Testing of new hardware conducted to conclude functionality.
- Assist the Sr. Security Manager or Director, DEA Compliance & Corporate Security develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Assist the Sr. Security Manager or Director, DEA Compliance & Corporate Security in maintaining the budget for OPEX & CAPEX spends during the year.
