The role of Virtual Events Specialist will serve the Meetings & Events team and includes supporting the production and deployment of virtual learning and promotional events.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate the delivery of national Virtual Events to internal and external audiences, including scheduling, communication, registration, and speaker support
- Collaborate with event owners to ensure proper event execution and satisfaction of desired objectives
- Collaborate with National Marketing Team to promote external Virtual Events (when applicable)
- Collaborate with various compliance teams to ensure qualification of virtual learning events for continuing education credit (when applicable)
- Operate the virtual learning platform(s), including event setup, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated experience in producing Virtual Events (Zoom, Microsoft Teams & GoToWebinar platforms preferred)
- Demonstrated task management skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple stakeholders and points of input
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, multi-task and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different needs, priorities and environments
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with professionals and stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter
- Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of
- Effective customer service skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
- Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
