Associate Producer

The Hero Company is looking for an Associate Producer, and if you're the right fit for our culture, this will likely be the best job you've ever had.

The Role

We're looking for someone to manage our growing video output. If hired, you'll assist and take over several responsibilities from our Video Production Manager as she shifts her focus toward other activities.

Your success will be determined by the quality and pace of output of high-converting video.

Your Responsibilities:

*Assist with Managing Editors: We have a team of four remote editors in the Philippines and Russia. You will work closely with the production manager to assign, review, and manage their output. Due to time zone differences, you must be flexible with your working hours.

*Assist with Storyboarding/Script annotations: No drawing is necessary, but you'll create stories using assets such as b-rolls, stock footage, BGM, SFX, etc. You must clearly communicate your vision to the editors to achieve the desired creative.

*Proofread scripts before sharing them with editors. Find that missing comma and the 'miniscule' mistyped word.

*Running Shoots: You will be responsible for running occasional shoots in San Diego/ La Jolla - with our spokespeople and for b-roll footage.

*Managing Remote Crews: we work with a team in Southern Florida, where one of our spokesperson doctors resides. You will be responsible for coordinating these shoots.

*Video Creatives: you will be responsible for staying on top of all the videos that are being produced and working closely with the production manager, marketers, project managers, and agencies to coordinate delivery and meet all the deadlines.

*Library Management: organize footage and new creatives in DropBox. Keep track of all our creatives across 4 different brands.

*Managing talent: communicate with talent, send scripts, set deadlines, approve footage, etc.

*AI tools: use various tools and platforms to create avatars and VO.

*Administrative tasks: send invoices to our accountant so that our actors and freelancers get paid in a timely manner.

*Editing Video: you will be directly responsible for edits as needed.

*Competitor Analysis

*Casting actors: create ads, select actors, and search for spokespersons to represent our brands.

*Various miscellaneous video projects: e.g. select a subject trial group to test our products, VideoAsk UGC testimonials collection, etc.

Skills & Requirements:

* 2+ Years of Video Editing - strong preference for Adobe Creative Suite

* 2+ Years of Video Shooting

* Proficient with Google Docs and Sheets

* Management Experience Strongly Preferred

* Base Pay ($60.000 -$65.000)
