New Hope Family Counseling Center is a group private practice with its main office located in Downey, CA. Our mission is to provide quality Mental Health services to our clients geared toward their needs and wants. We are an eclectic group of Mental Health providers with a family vibe. Our main clients are couples and families as well as young professionals. Our ideal candidate is a person who is motivated and committed to providing quality Mental Health services. We are looking to hire an associate therapist to join our diverse group practice. Our group offers flexible scheduling.

Position Details
•Ability to commute/relocate: Downey Office
Proficient in Spanish is a must.
Masters degree and between 1 and 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be registered with the BBS as an Associate MFT/ACSW/APCC
Must be organized, very detail-oriented, independent, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, familiarity with Electronic Records Systems, and using encrypted/secure emails
Strong organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills
To always maintain appropriate legal and ethical standards, including appropriate boundaries with clients, avoidance of dual relationships, and absolutely no romantic or sexual involvement with clients at any time
•To "do no harm" to clients and operate within the scope of practice
Inform the clinical director of any planned breaks/vacations and ensure coverage for existing clients
•Any violation of CAMFT ethical standards shall be grounds for immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination

Requirements
- The therapist will provide a hybrid of in-person and outpatient therapy with children, teens, adults, and couples
- Ability to work under stress, with interruptions and deadlines
- Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
- Agree to work a minimum of 2 evenings per week and/or Saturday mornings from 9AM to 1PM
- Complete documentation in a timely manner (no later than 2 business days after session)
- •Return client messages in a timely manner, possibly within 24 hours
- • To contact your supervisor before making any child or elder abuse report
- To dress according to clinic guidelines
- •Be in compliance with BBS requirements for continued registration and towards licensure
- •Must be willing to facilitate groups
- • Any changes in the contracted hours or vacation times will need to be submitted and approved by the Clinical Director
