When Lotus Rising began in January of 2020, the model reflected one which focused on children, teens, and young adults, as well as parents and families primarily in a Group Therapy format. It wasn’t long before Covid-19 made its appearance and while the Goal and Intention behind Lotus Rising did not change, the way in which we were able to deliver support definitely did change. For the past 6 months, we have been able to meet the ever-increasing needs of our community through individual and family sessions.
While Lotus continues to focus on our young population, we have opportunities to see adult individuals and couples as well. Our work with our clients focuses on relationship-based support combined with an understanding of systemic needs including clinical, school, work and social skills. A strong ability to work and communicate with parents is an essential skill for this work. We welcome multiple modalities and empower each clinician to develop individual treatment plans and courses of treatment for their clients.
Position Details:
- Part-time & Full-time positions. Full time consists of an average of 100 billable hours per month.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to split time between office and telemedicine
- Provide Individual and Family Therapy to Clients.

Successful Candidate will have the following:
- Strong skills in working with children/adolescents and families.
- Experience and Interest in Group Therapy.
- Interest in joining a Collaborative, Dynamic Group.
- Strong Work-Life Balance.
- Effective Communication Skills.
Requirements:
- Current license to practice in California.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), PsyD, or Ph.D.
- At least 2 years of experience in Private Practice.
- Registered Associates also considered based on experience.
Pay:
- $45-$50/Insurance Billable Hour. (Licensed candidates)
- Cash Split percentage 60/40. (Licensed candidates)
- $20/hour for Administration Time/Consultation/Meetings.
- Full Time Employees receive $250/month HealthCare Reimbursement.
