About Us
SD Center for Counseling is a non-profit organization providing low to no cost therapy to children, teens, adults, and families who have been impacted by traumatic events. We are co-located in and work collaboratively with the SD Family Justice Center. The position includes working directly with children and families providing long term therapy services, interacting with a variety of community partners (District Attorney/Police Department/Child Welfare Services) and collaborating with a dynamic and fun team to provide care to those in need. We work with a wide range of issues to help clients progress so that the cycle of abuse and retraumatization can end and healing can begin

Qualifications
- A current associate license with the California BBS or BoP as a ACSW, AMFT, APC.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking mandatory
- Requires 3 days in-person and 2 remote
- Possess great communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and independent individuals will thrive in this environment
- Full Time or Part Time available with a minimum of 20 hours per week: Many children are in need of evening and weekend availability
- In office and telehealth hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Meet with children, teens, adults, and/or families for outpatient psychotherapy according to training and areas of expertise
- Create client treatment plans and goals in accordance with the CA Victim Compensation Board
- Ensure treatment follows goals outlined in the treatment plan
- Complete progress notes each session (we have an efficient and effective EHR)
- Ensure proper charting is completed on day service is rendered
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
