Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is a registered non-profit Mental Health agency that has been providing counseling and Mental Health services throughout the Inland Empire since 1978. We have over 50 employees that offer a wide range of services and programs. In addition to our general Mental Health program, we have specialized programs for young children, at-risk youth, family reunification support, military veterans and their family, faith-based support, and a Trauma Recovery Center.
Summary
CCS is looking for an Associate level Mental Health Therapist to join the Adult & Family Services department. The primary role of the Mental Health Therapist is to provide professional therapeutic behavioral health services to individuals and groups of all ages and demographic backgrounds. The Mental Health Therapist will collaboratively participate in staff meetings and trainings, perform necessary administrative tasks, and participate in CCS community relations efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidential clinical records in keeping with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards and practices of his/her primary professional discipline.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other team building activities.
- Participate in community events as needed.
- Perform administrative, development, and other organizational tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health discipline.
- Associate Registration as a Marriage and Family Therapist or Professional Clinical Counselor.
- Registered and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Candidates that have a pending registration with the BBS will be considered with the condition that an active registration number will be obtained within 45 days of accepting the offer of employment.
