Attention Associates! Mindful Therapy Group offers a unique opportunity to start your private practice with insurance-paying clients through our Supervised Associate Program. By joining this program, you’ll be eligible to see insurance clients and receive reimbursement from insurance payors, all while earning supervision hours toward your full licensure.

Mental health clinicians in most settings are underpaid and overworked, with associate-level clinicians particularly undervalued as they begin their careers. At Mindful Therapy Group we know that you are capable clinicians with hard-earned skills who deserve better and have the potential to do so.

Rather than waiting years to do the work they’ve always wanted to do, our Supervised Associate Program enables associate clinicians to make the transition into private practice now, under the guidance of a qualified supervisor of their choice. This program makes it possible to accept client insurance plans directly, so associates can provide affordable access to Mental Healthcare and build sustainable practices that make an impact.

We have built a time-tested model of care where clinicians are in the driver’s seat, and can deliver a high level of quality care, while being paid what they’re worth, and have more time outside of their practice to take care of themselves. With the support of our experienced provider support teams, clinicians are empowered to start their own practice and make that a reality.

As an independent clinician partnering with Mindful Therapy Group, you will receive fully comprehensive business support and insights, and a full suite of wrap-around services for your business, provided by real people who have helped hundreds of providers build successful practices in our model.

Services include:

• A guided step-by-step process for building your business and preparing to practice.
• Consistent in-depth practice consultation with a dedicated account manager to help you reach your goals and learn how to not only build a successful practice, but also prevent burnout, making quality care possible.
• Paneling with major insurance payors in weeks, not months.
• Insurance payor reimbursement negotiations and resulting rate increases are transparent, and directly passed on to you, the clinician (and are on average 20% higher than individual provider rates).
