Job Description - Remote Telehealth Associate Therapist (Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or QMHP applying for their associate license (in the state of Oregon, we cannot supervise an LCSWA)) - Congruent Therapy provides in-house Supervision
About Us:
Congruent Therapy, founded by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Italia Hensley, is a flourishing therapist clinic that fosters collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity. We aim to provide our clients with authentic, ethical, and comprehensive care. While focusing on nurturing and developing the skills of our therapists, we are building a safe and supportive culture. Currently, our roles are telehealth-oriented, Couples Therapy, and W-2 employees.
Company Culture:
Our organization upholds a culture that values flexibility, personal growth, and supportive interactions. We celebrate diversity and recognize that our therapists come from diverse backgrounds and have unique training, perspectives, experiences, and capabilities. We believe in offering an inclusive space where community involvement is available but not mandatory, understanding that some therapists prefer to focus on their work with clients while others may desire more engagement with colleagues. Through on-the-job training, we harmonize our client care standards with our therapists' expertise and adhere strictly to a non-discrimination policy. Acknowledging the importance of work-life equilibrium, we actively encourage and assist our clinicians in maintaining their wellness.
Position Overview:
We are actively recruiting Marriage and Family Therapist Associates, Professional Counselor Associates, and Qualified Mental Health Professionals applying for their licenses to join our telehealth team based in Oregon. In-house supervision is now available, and we are looking to hire individuals to work with individuals, couples, and poly systems.
The Supervisor accepting Associates:
Italia Hensley, the Owner and Founder of Congruent Therapy and a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, is a Certified Non-Monogamous therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance.
She works to blend kindness and compassion with direct communication to create an environment where growth and learning thrive. Her supervision approach will be rooted in a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and a deep understanding of both systems and attachment perspectives. She believes in empowering clinicians to harness their potential, while continually evolving in their professional journey. Her work will be focused on tailoring training and support to every associate and employee's needs.
