As the Associate Marketing Manager for Brand Merchandising...
What You'll Do:
The will support the marketing group in the maintenance of the Brand Merchandising program. This individual will be the resident expert on all items offered on James Hardie's internal e-store (aka Hardie Store) and will be the primary go-to-person for its management.
- Maintain inventory levels of all print collateral and fiber cement samples on James Hardie's e-store (aka Hardie Store).
- Set up new items on Hardie Store and handle disposition of items that are being discontinued.
- Maintain reports to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain user base of all users on Hardie store to ensure accurate and up-to-date records, including facilitating new user set-ups/credentialing.
- Conduct regular cross-functional meetings with vendor partners and internal graphics design team and Samples Plant for planning and optimization in print and samples production.
- Create, maintain and publish user and training documentation for all new and existing users of Hardie Store.
- Manage the end-to-end user experience on Hardie Store including data catalogs and on-site communication.
- Publish regularly scheduled report updates to the organization to track performance of inventory disposition, fill rates and budget spend.
- Maintain brand style standards - ensure consistency between print, offline and online assets.
- Assist in diagnosing, facilitating or resolving user service issues on Hardie Store.
- Participate in continuous evolution of the James Hardie brand by helping institutionalize changes across the organization.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (business marketing or management)
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Possess a complete understanding of merchandising processes, procedures and systems.
- Experience managing catalog and/or web projects.
- Strong time and project management skills with good follow-through.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency and ability to shift and prioritize work to meet key deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Including the ability to listen and assess customer needs, prioritize needs/requirements, and communicate them cross-functionally.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
- A curious-minded individual who learns and adapts quickly to new matters and dynamics, unafraid to ask questions and be able to understand what is needed to advance a project.
- Self-starter who has the ability to work across teams as well as operate independently.
- Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally with different teams such as Field Sales, Legal, Products, etc.
- Ability to travel 10%.
- Ability to work in the office minimum 3 days/week
