Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology).
- 2+ year of experience in ETL, data analytics, or data engineering roles; building and implementing data pipelines and modeling data.
- Proficient in data engineering tools and languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Spark), as well as experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.
- Expertise in relational and non-relational databases, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges in data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage media data architecture for L’Oreal’s consumer products division (Garnier, Maybelline, L’Oreal Paris, etc.), providing guidance and support in designing and implementing scalable Data Solutions.
- Develop and maintain the data architecture, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the integration of data from various sources, including internal databases, third-party platforms, and external APIs.
- Design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient and accurate data movement within the organization.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing and easily understandable data visualizations to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Implement and enforce data quality standards, performing regular audits and troubleshooting data anomalies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including reporting/insight leads, CDMO analytic team, and media activation teams, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging data engineering technologies, evaluate their relevance to the organization, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Implement and monitor data security measures and compliance with data protection regulations.
Compensation Range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
