Inventory Control Coordinator

Position Summary:
This is a full-time 2nd shift position: Monday - Friday, 10:00AM - 6:30PM
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Somerset, NJ is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for the Operations group. The Supply Chain department manages the materials planning, warehousing, shipping, sample coordination, and receiving operations. It develops and implements appropriate systems and controls to effectively manage the existing operation and meet the needs of the organization. The Warehouse team is responsible for effectively and efficiently directing the materials management function to ensure that operations and quality goals for Somerset are met.

The Role

• Process direct material inventory (raw materials, in process, finished goods) and stock of indirect materials
• Process acceptance, physical counts, description information, and integrity of labels and documentation for inventory goods per SOP
• Timely issuance of materials to operations for use on manufacturing. and ensure timely return and reconciliation of all goods and materials from manufacturing
• Monitor levels and support reorder of stock supplies supporting operations, engineering, product development, and analytical activities as needed in partnership with Supply Planning
• Process accurate reconciliation of materials within inventory and ready for use in manufacturing
• Compliant storage and handling of solvents, rejected materials, materials on hold as well as processing of all materials to be returned or destroyed in compliance with site SOPs
• Perform transactions in JDE as required including: receipts, adjustments, transfers, shipments
• Perform timely cycle counts as required
• Maintain annual certification requirements for DOT, IATA, RCRA
• Support investigations related to quality discrepancies and Trackwise events
• All other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

• High School Diploma required
• 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse environment required; experience in inventory management is strongly preferred
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with an ERP system is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer usage is required
• Must be well-organized and able to multitask different projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Good problem solving skills required

• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
