Job Description: Associate Director of Sales, Managed Segments  Position Title: Senior Sales Enthusiast / Associate Director of Sales  
Reports To: Lead Sales Enthusiast/Director of Sales and Marketing
Position Summary:
THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION. REMOTE/HYBRID DOES NOT APPLY. As an Associate Director of Sales, you assist in administering and providing oversight to the BT, Group and Catering segments of the hotel in conjunction with direction from the Director of Sales & Marketing. This role carries a direct booking goal from the BT Segment and Team Goal from the Group/Catering segments.

You will also identify areas of opportunity utilizing recommended tools and Hilton sales training resources to optimize sales team performance. Additionally, you will work with other hotel departments to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.
BT Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for assigned BT accounts from Hilton Worldwide Sales and Local Neighborhood accounts.
  2. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the hotel’s business objectives and creates action plans to meet pre-established sales goals.
  3. Responsible for the administration of all CVENT data inclusions and reporting. **Answering leads is not part of this role, it is a data analysis reporting and updating of the portal to align the hotel’s distribution strategies.
  4. Responsible for the administration of all on-site BT Managed data inclusions and reporting, including answering leads via Hilton’s proprietary OnQ Solicitation Management.
  5. Implements all sales action plans for assigned accounts in business travel as outlined in the marketing plan.
  6. Responsible for all quantitative reporting in demonstrating ROI, pace, and conversion including but not limited to data analysis from Amadeus Agency 360, Demand 360, Delphi, Knowland and CVENT.
  7. Participates in brand sales missions, industry tradeshows, and BTA office visits to acquire new business and/or to close on business.
  8. Provides support to the Conference Services & Events division as an operations liaison, maintains and administers SOPs to ensure successful execution of BT, Group and Catering bookings.
  9. Works closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel by evaluating RevMax opportunities daily.
  10. Develops and maintains accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly BT account & Group reports for presentation to key stakeholders including but not limited to the DOSM, GM and Asset Management.
  11. Attends all department and hotel meetings as necessary.
  12. Prepares business cases for target accounts and presents them to the brand for hotel program inclusion.
Prerequisites:
  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • Conscientiousness and attention to detail.
  • Polished personal presentation with warm, confident, and hospitable personality.
  • Flexible schedule. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Education:
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
Experience:
  • experience in Group and/or BT sales with branded and/or independent hotels.   
  • Proficiency utilizing MS Office suite, Salesforce Delphi fdc. and hotel CRM + PMS
  • Comfort with digital and in-person solicitations/presentations.

Hilton experience preferred but not required.
