As the Associate Director of Market Development, you will be responsible for driving Shure’s business strategies with Microsoft and Zoom in North America. Based in the Seattle, WA area, this role will advance Shure’s relationships within our partners’ Field Sales Organization and Device Partner Sales Organization, develop Shure’s co-selling strategies, and drive Shure’s room deployment/activations/revenue plan. You will participate in joint sales and marketing activities with Microsoft and Zoom, leverage the learning assets playbook, and engage account planning methodology and deal incentive tools.

 

This position will be remote based out of the Seattle, Washington area. 


  • Collaborate with Microsoft/Zoom and their partner ecosystem to develop co-selling opportunities for Shure solutions.
  • Execute effective growth strategies that align with Microsoft's/Zoom’s customer engagement methodology. Stay up-to-date on the latest Microsoft/Zoom technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key sales stakeholders at Microsoft and Zoom, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership. Conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Shure’s marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns and events that drive awareness and demand for our Microsoft/Zoom solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure the successful delivery of Microsoft/Zoom-certified solutions to the North American market.
  • Provide guidance and support to partners and customers during the sales process, addressing any concerns or technical questions related to Shure’s solutions.
  • Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, effectively communicating our value proposition and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement an effective schedule of sales meetings, promotional and product planning, trade shows, clinics, business meetings, and collaborative efforts cross-functionally, plan and monitor expense budgets according to fiscal year objectives, and other duties as needed.

  • Required and Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Graduate coursework is desirable.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in solution sales, preferably in the technology industry with a focus on Microsoft and/or Zoom solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft/Zoom customer engagement methodology and experience guiding teams through its implementation.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft/Zoom technologies.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex business landscapes, identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
  • Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $145k- $247k with a midpoint target to allow for short-term growth and monetary awards for Associates. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
