As part of the North America Oncology Commercial Team, will serve as the Business Operations support for the Oncology Business Unit and will be the process lead for the Business Unit.
Reporting to the Oncology Commercial Performance and Operations Lead, the Associate Director (AD) of Commercial Operations will have significant interaction with key internal stakeholders, with primary focus on business operation implementation, execution, and process improvement. By providing coordination across the commercial business and with cross functional partners, e.g., Medical, V&A, it is expected that this new role will have a strong impact on planning, execution, and productivity enhancing the overall performance of the Oncology Business Unit.
Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations
- In partnership with the Leadership, support execution of projects that will position Ipsen Oncology for success in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Ensure clear understanding of timelines, milestones, and process management of business critical workstreams in partnership with Oncology Business Unit (OBU) leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Be the “Quarterback of Commercial Operations” controlling process improvement workstreams, owning strategic and operational alignment for all requests to be implemented within the Business Unit. Ensure optimum field team productivity and minimize time out of the field.
- Support development and execution of business processes and controls to maximize commercial resources and profitability.
- Lead insight generation from internal stakeholders for future process improvement. Align insights to strategic priorities, align leadership and implement change management plans as needed.
- Partner with leadership to execute critical activities supporting OBU operations, including training, annual objective setting and business planning.
- Assist in preparation of POA meetings, cross functional meetings, leadership off-sites and other field events.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders internal and external, BU and otherwise.
- Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff.
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience and having a broad knowledge of Sales/ Marketing/ Finance is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others.
- Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and/or individual contributor.
- Comfort working within an environment of strict compliance with appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.
- Willingness/ability to travel domestically.

The annual base salary range for this position is $143,250 - $210,100.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
