OUR SCHOOL
Invictus Academy is an independent public charter school located in El Cerrito and we are seeking an Associate Dean of Students to join our instructional team who believes deeply that the mission, model, and values at Invictus are driving improved and equitable educational outcomes for students.
Invictus creates joyful, rigorous classroom cultures where students understand the importance of the content they are learning, and how it connects to their everyday lives and ambitions. We work to ensure that in every lesson, the heavy lifting is done by our students.

THE ROLE
Invictus Academy is an independent public charter school located in El Cerrito and we are seeking an Associate Dean of Students to join our team who believes deeply that the mission, model, and values at Invictus are driving improved educational outcomes for students.
The Associate Dean of Students plays an invaluable role in building the cultural and academic foundation of Invictus Academy. In close partnership with the Principal and the Dean of Students designs, the Associate Dean executes, monitors, and continuously improves school culture systems, including parent involvement, discipline and restorative justice, and supporting teachers to create joyful, structured, and productive learning environments.

- Have at least two years of teaching experience, with school/teacher leadership experience preferred, and a track record of quantifiable and qualitative success
- Earned a Bachelor's degree
- Possess strong attention to detail in all aspects of your work
- Maintain poise in a fast-paced, urgent environment
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both in speaking and writing
- Have knowledge and skill in reading and analyzing budgets
