We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, entry level Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for the legal industry, specifically in the realm of personal injury. We are a fast-paced, high-energy law firm that values the pursuit of justice and the well-being of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in plaintiff representation and a keen understanding of the intricacies of personal injury law. Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to clients on matters of personal injury law.
• Represent plaintiffs presenting evidence and arguments in the most persuasive way.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other pre-trial disclosures.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the facts of the case.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to resolve the matter before trial.
• Maintain current knowledge of personal injury law, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining open lines of communication with clients and ensuring they are kept informed about the progress of their case.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
• A minimum of 0-2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, specifically in the field of personal injury law.
• Proven record of representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also skilled at collaborating within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Passionate about providing excellent service to clients and helping them navigate complex legal issues.
