About the Job:
A thriving Bay Shore, New York, law practice is seeking full-time, experienced attorneys to join its team. The firm is presently seeking attorneys to join its criminal defense, litigation, and matrimonial and family law groups.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Candidates should possess the following experience in either criminal defense, litigation or matrimonial / family law matters, or a combination thereof:

• Client interaction and intake
• Case management and review
• Interview of clients and witnesses
• Review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related case evidence
• Legal research and writing, prepare and oppose motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials
• Attend court appearances
• Negotiate dispositions and/or settlements

Qualifications/Skills:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited Law School
• Admission to the New York State Bar (Required)
• Federal admission for litigation and criminal law candidates (Preferred)
• 3 to 5 years' experience in the practice area (Preferred)
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of laws and procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
