St. Petersburg, FL law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of Insurance Defense experience. The firm handles defense of personal injury, bodily injury auto accidents, and premise liability matters.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills to effectively manage legal matters within the firm.
Duties:
Handle defense of personal injury, bodily injury auto accidents, and premise liability matters from the initial stages to final resolution.
including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor, J.D., degree from an accredited law school.
Member of the Florida State Bar
3 to 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense matters.
Proven track record of successful case management and litigation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
